First things first: take a deep breath. Feel that? That’s the sound of you making it through another day as a mom. Whether you are growing a tiny human, or you’ve been wiping sticky fingers, answering 217 “why” questions, or negotiating with a toddler over which color cup they really wanted, you are here. And I am so glad you are.
I try to create a cozy little virtual corner where we celebrate the beautiful, messy, joyful chaos of motherhood. This is the place where it’s okay to admit you hid in the pantry eating chocolate just to get five minutes of peace (been there). It’s also a place where we get to talk about you-not just as a mom, but as a woman who’s still trying to figure out how to take care of yourself while taking care of everyone else.
Here, we believe a few things:
That “me-time” doesn’t have to mean a tropical vacation-though wouldn’t that be nice? Sometimes it’s a quiet moment rubbing your baby bump, and sometimes it’s just a hot cup of coffee before it turns into iced coffee without the ice.
That every mama deserves to feel beautiful, whether through a 5-minute skincare routine, a homemade face mask, brushing your hair for the first time all day or finally putting on that maternity glow-even if it’s just highlighter-or rocking yoga pants like a boss.
That feeding your family doesn’t always mean gourmet. Chicken nuggets count as protein, and cereal is totally a dinner option when you’ve had that kind of day. So go for it because let’s keep it real: we’re all just doing our best.
Motherhood—and the journey leading up to it—is hard, no doubt about it. But it’s also full of little moments that make your heart burst. Like hearing that first heartbeat at an ultrasound. Or catching your baby’s first smile. Or like when your kiddo says, “You’re the best mom ever” (right before spilling juice on the couch) or when they finally fall asleep, and you’re left staring at their angelic face, wondering how someone so tiny can be so exhausting and so lovable all at once.
Well, here on EverGlowing Mama Life, we will talk about everything: the triumphs and the fails, the out-of-this-world funny stories you can’t make up, and the lessons that we are all still trying to learn. Please feel free to leave your questions and doubts about any kind of pregnancy, so others and I can answer if we have experience on that topic. You’ll also find baby tips that work, skincare routines that actually fit into a busy mom’s schedule, recipes that don’t require a culinary degree, and a whole lot of encouragement to remind you that you’re not alone on this wild ride.
My hope is that this space feels like chatting with an old friend who gets it. No judgment, no pressure, just a whole lot of love for the amazing mama you are.
Because at the end of the day, no matter how messy, chaotic, or downright exhausting it gets, you’re still glowing, Mama. And together, we’ll keep that glow shining bright.
Welcome home. 💖
